Back in the desert again

I walked only 4.51 miles today (I expended a lot of energy on a long walk yesterday).  Here are some shots of mine from the Ocean Beach Pier.

On the mapped journey from San Diego to Washington D.C., we're only 4.51 miles farther along the way, so that puts us a little past Hyder.  Here's what the road looks like.   Supposedly, there's a convenience store out here somewhere......but, I couldn't find it.  Good thing I'm actually in San Diego, otherwise the buzzards would be circling over me about now.
